Policies
We’re thrilled to present our creative menu options for your events at MITRE! Our mission is to ensure your satisfaction, and our dedicated team works hard to exceed your expectations.
Ordering Guidelines
Advance Notice:
· Hot food orders should be placed at least 72 hours in advance.
· Cold food orders should be placed at least 48 hours in advance.
Last-Minute Requests:
· We’ll do our best to accommodate last-minute orders, so please reach out!
Food Allergies:
· Please inform the Catering Manager of any food allergies in your party before placing your order.
Delivery Hours:
· 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (daytime service only).
Minimum Order:
· $25 per order, with a minimum of 10 guests. Special requests for fewer guests can be considered.
Guest Count:
· Final guest count is required 48 hours prior to delivery.
Staffing and Labor
· Need early service? We can accommodate before 7 AM for an additional fee.
· After-hours service: $50 per hour for servers, bartenders, and chefs, with a four-hour minimum
Cancellation Policy:
· Cancellations require a 48 hours’ notice to avoid charges. Late cancellations will incur costs for services rendered.
Financial Guidelines
· Orders must align with MITRE’s allowable per diem rates. Refer to the per diem policy in the MII for specifics.
· PCard holders must attach an attendee list to the catering invoice in Oracle iExpense during the allocation process.
· Non-MITRE events will incur local and city taxes.
Payment Process
· P-Cards for all catering payments is preferred
· For cash payments towards catering, follow the Straight Arrow policy:
· Use a PCard for payment and collect cash. Obtain a cashier's check for the remaining balance to submit to MITRE.
